A native PS5 version of card game UNO has been quietly released on the PS5 by publisher Ubisoft, and it’s cross-buy with the original PS4 edition if you already own it. Furthermore, because UNO is already available as part of PS Plus Extra, subscribers will be able to download this new-gen version for free as well.
As for the game itself, well it’s a virtual version UNO, so don’t expect too many surprises. “Players can choose gameplay with traditional rules, including stacking, 7-0, and jump-in, and use Uno's online multiplayer feature to play with friends on the same platform,” the press release reads. “The Ultimate Edition of the game also includes the game's DLC packs, such as Fenyx's Quest, Call of Yara, and Valhalla, each of which introduces a new game mode and themed cosmetic options for cards.”

Can't wait to delete my PS4 version, then download this one and not even notice the difference 😂
@Member_the_game and also forget it’s there in the first place lol
I feel it's worth mentioning that this game can be played 4 player locally with players using their mobile phones as their hands. It's a cool way to prevent cheating, I hope the PS5 version allows this too.
I'm gonna have to use my Skip card on this one.
I can’t wait to see UNO cards in the highest 4K fidelity at 120 FPS performance and there better be ray tracing!
So is that how Uno does multi-player local? Phones are used? Any other options? Always wondered.
Yes! GOTY! Been waiting for this forever! Thanks, Ubisoft for making my 2023 amazing!

Not played this since I had it on the Xbox360 and the gameplay was rife with people getting their n** out on the Xbox camera.
@NathanCox Apparently Ubisoft removed support for PlayLink (mobile app) functionality... in both versions
PSVR2 version would be goat
Cool I guess but using a second screen is more exciting for UNO so less looking away from the screen.
Single screen is fine but yeah phones mostly likely no Vita support, no curtain, no idea if a ding to signal to players or not to look back when done. You c an tell I've not played it or barely remember how it functions.
Even then maybe I can check the 360 XBLA games/some demos disk I have as while can't transfer it to my Xbox One like some on there I could I can see if it works or it's 360 store download if that's the case pass on that then as a comparison and footage it is online.
I played the PS4 version I think at a friend's house don't own it myself got the physical cards and happy with that/not a casual/party game fan.
But it's nice it's there. Thanks Ubisoft I guess for a PS5 UNO/a deal like this on PS Extra of UNO?
Haven't bought a card/board game video game other than Monopoly Party on PS2,Scrabble PS1 or Family Game Night Volume 3 on 360 so I had wondered how these were (besides research on Game of Life 2 or the board game changes over the years).
Even game show games like Millionaire or Wheel of Fortune since PS1 or Wii.
